Here is a portion of a thank you letter written by the director of the pantry to the volunteers that participated in a recent food distribution.

"Thank you for all the support this past Tuesday evening. The Twin Valley Food Pantry served 51 families - (accounting for 188people). We had 9 new families visit the pantry this month. We also had 41 volunteers from across our community supporting the evening. Thank you. We distributed approximately 6000 pounds of food, cleaning supplies, personal health and hygiene items. We would like to especially thank all of those that brought fresh produce to distribute. We had an abundance that was very well received."

So come on out and help support our community. Meet some new people, enjoy some good food and music.

    Hope to see you there.

    Daryl

  • September Farm Cheese

Pennsylvania Senator Mike Brubaker visited September Farm Cheese in March of 2010. He spent part of the day there interviewing Dave and Roberta Rotelle, owners of September Farm Cheese.  You can view the interview at this link:

     http://nova.pasenategop.com/Brubaker/2010/brubaker0710.wmv

See how cheese is made start to finish. From the barn where cows are milked, to the cheese shop where it's made, to the rustic retail store. It's about 30 minutes long so you'll need a bit of time, but i'm sure you will be fascinated with what you see. The next best thing to watching the video is to actually go visit the farm and experience September Farm first hand. I'm  sure if you visit once you'll be back again and again.

Fresh cut flowers are now available. Get a fresh bouquet for your home, office, or for a friend.

The Ten Week Subscription is the  most cost effective option. You can get a fresh bouquet every week. Or if you need to skip a week sometime,  we'll just bring you two arrangements the following week, and you can give one away.

And if you just want to get a fresh bouquet for a special occasion, that's an option too.
